Forever and Ever Review

Listen carefully to what I am going to tell you.

So, in 2021, a Chinese drama called One and Only. I have seen the series, it is quite good, and for those who like Chinese dramas, I would highly recommend you not to miss that Chinese period romantic television series because from the story to the execution, drama, the chemistry between the characters, and the ending left fans heartbroken.

And even hardcore people like me, who have a tough heart, melted.

I mean, my eyes really became moist after watching that series. And just understand that after seeing the things in the ending, the fans demanded from the makers that we need a different storyline for our lead. Where the two have a perfect ending.

Then the makers quickly listened to the fans’ requests and created a new C-drama, taking their own leads, placing them in a new world with a new storyline and a different era, called Forever and Ever.

Yes, this C-drama you’re about to watch has finally arrived in Hindi on the MX Player platform. It’s actually a sequel to the 2021 film One and Only.

So now your question is, is it necessary to watch that before watching this one?

There could be two answers:

  • If you’re a die-hard fan of Chinese dramas and you absolutely love to feel their emotions, then my answer would be to watch One and Only. Then, watching Forever and Ever will be more appealing to you.
  • If you can’t watch the One and Only, don’t have that much time, and want to watch Forever and Ever directly, then I’d say don’t focus too much on the character and story. Watch six to seven episodes, and you’ll understand everything. If you can spare that much time, you can definitely watch this series.

Forever and Ever isn’t bad either. It’s quite good.

The main female actress, Bai Lu, plays a dubbing artist. And the twist is that she dubs the same drama that we’ve seen in real life in 2021. From that point on, some things start happening in the actress’s life regarding her past. Due to this, her relationship with the male lead starts fluctuating a bit.

So, what problems start showing up in our leads’ lives? And overall, you’ll see a family drama around them, with past-present moments, and the main point… whether they actually get a good ending or not. To find out all this, you’ll have to watch this series called ‘Forever and Ever.’

Coming to the series, the Hindi dubbing by MX Player is excellent. If you’ve been following C-Dramas on their platform, this dubbing will feel like a strong cup of tea. Proper solid.

The series is also good. Its story is interesting. And the emotions they’ve delivered this time with a new style and a new tone will be a joy to watch.

And as this C-Drama has the title “Forever and Ever,” this series will make you feel this deeply if you spend time and follow the characters’ journey.

Bring some tissues along, as the emotional part hits hard. Especially if you tend to melt softly after watching romantic scenes, then I guarantee this will make you cry many times.

The leads’ work is good. You won’t encounter any issues there. And the technical aspects, though, are quite strong.

Conclusion

Overall, I’d recommend this if you want a good romantic Chinese drama. You know, something with a reincarnation-style story where you get to see the leads’ journey across lifetimes. Their love story feels sweet, it breaks you a little, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry.

As for me, I connected with the story, which is why I was excited to watch it. And when I finally found out it was coming in Hindi, I decided I had to watch it.

My rating: 8/10.

I don’t follow hype. I analyze it, review it, and call it out when it’s trash.
