So look, Ashish Chanchlani’s Ekaki series, Chapter 3, is now live, and it’s called Invasion. Invasion refers to the act of attacking someone or entering a place without prior notice.
Ekaki, which seemed like a ghost story until the end of Chapter 2, has now transformed into an alien story. I’ve already watched it, so let’s spill some tea!
Ekaki Chapter 3 Invasion Review
Actually, I realized that this story would revolve around aliens. We got hints of this in the very first episode. But most of us viewers didn’t pay attention to these easter eggs.
Around 5 minutes and 12-13 seconds into the first episode, you’ll see a person wearing clothes similar to those worn by Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya.
Immediately after that, at 5 minutes and 15 seconds, you can find a look similar to Aamir Khan’s in PK.
So, if this had been noticed earlier, many people would have understood it then. And this also shows that Ashish has used a cinephile’s mind.
Now that you know that the village of Ambora, where these people went, has aliens, for reasons unknown, but they are there.
Now Ashish and his friends are planning how to escape safely from here, avoiding the aliens. And this third Chapter is based on that, which, if I compare it to the other episodes, I would say is a little weaker because the comedy is less compared to the previous episodes.
However, I would say that if we set the comedy aside, the presentation of the alien ship, the camera angles, all the nighttime scenes, and the actors’ acting are all top-notch.
I was very excited for the Ekaki Chapter 3 after the end of Chapter 2. However, this attempt to fill the ocean drop by drop requires considerable patience.
I’m waiting to see when it will be revealed why the aliens are actually there, what they look like, or how Ashish Chanchalni will present these aliens.
And now, it’s becoming clear that the long break they took is being justified, whether it’s the VFX shots or the credit scenes before each episode; they are very creative.
