I watched a movie on Netflix that I was very excited to see, called Wake Up Dead Man.

Whose murder was it? Who did it? And when Daniel Craig’s character enters to investigate this murder mystery, what challenges does he face? Because the murder happened in a room or a place you can’t even imagine, where nothing can come in, and nothing can go out, meaning there are no clues at all.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Review
Now you’re probably thinking, “IT’S JUST A MURDER MYSTERY MOVIE, WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT? No, bro, if you’re thinking that and planning to skip this movie, you’ll be making a huge mistake.
The movie’s story is excellent, and the way it’s written is hard. It hooks you from the very first scene, and you stay glued to it throughout the film.
There are twists and turns, shocking moments, and especially in the second half, the big reveals will surprise you. They will literally surprise you, even if you consider yourself a seasoned moviegoer.
The movie’s tone is quite dark. And as I mentioned, this picture is the third installment in the Knives Out universe. You know that the creators don’t usually go this dark, but in this third installment, they’ve gone considerably darker. And the environment and tone they’ve presented are absolutely amazing.
All the actors’ performances are good. Nothing was lacking. It’s quite an enjoyable experience.
Overall, the investigation, the drama, the conversations, and the relationships you’ll experience really stand out.
Now, where there are positives, there are obviously negatives too.
Yes, the movie has some flaws, but I won’t comment on them.
I’ll tell you this before I go: if you’re looking for a hard-hitting movie on Netflix this week, and if you like the murder mystery concept with a unique flavor – something different from what you’ve seen before, with dark comedy, a dark environment, dark suspense, and a religious twist – then I highly recommend that you don’t miss this movie, no matter what.
This is one of those “watch before you die” movies.
