Alright guys, so listen, recently, a lot of K-dramas have been released one after another. If you haven’t watched anything good in a while, this post will be really useful, so stick with it until the end.

The Tale of Lady Ok
Let’s talk about the first K-drama on the list; you absolutely have to watch this one if you enjoy a mix of action and historical drama.
You’ll notice elements reminiscent of Game of Thrones here. I’m not talking about the fantasy aspect, though; I’m referring to the political angle.
The story follows a young woman’s journey, and essentially, you get to uncover her background, where she comes from and what her ultimate goal or ambition in life is.
She even has a specific wish regarding her own death, dictating exactly how she wants to go if her time comes.
At the same time, once she rises to a position of power, you see the people conspiring to bring her down. From the twists and turns in her love life to the various other plot developments, if you want to fully immerse yourself in the experience and enjoy a top-notch K-drama, I highly recommend watching The Tale of Lady Ok.
It’s a bit long, but if you’ve never watched a historical drama before, trust me, you’re going to absolutely love this K-drama.
This is a series that gives you an engaging story along with a strong political angle. You also get plenty of conspiracies and the kind of elements you usually see in a historical drama. You’ll have a lot of fun watching it.
But if you aren’t into action-packed shows and would rather watch a sweet Korean series, there is one that recently wrapped up on Prime Video.
My Bias, My Boss
It tells the story of a young woman who is a huge fan—practically worships—of a Korean idol; in fact, she joins a specific company just because of him.
However, after joining the company, she met another guy.
So, what path will she choose for her life? Will she end up with the idol who drew her to the company, or will the new guy she met become a part of her life?
Ultimately, which of the two men will she choose? If you are curious and enjoy love triangles, I recommend this series, My Bias My Boss.
It’s a great romantic comedy series; the twists and turns, in particular, will definitely surprise you.
And the ending seeing the girl go to the hero she loves will surely make your day; the conclusion is absolutely beautiful.
So, if you’re looking for a lovely romantic comedy series, you should definitely give this one a try. It’s a fantastic series you’ll enjoy.
Filing for Love
But if you aren’t looking for a sweet, wholesome series and instead want something full of chaotic drama while still sticking to the romantic comedy theme—then you should give this series a try.
It follows a guy who holds a high-ranking position at a company until a woman enters his life and gets him demoted. Essentially, he went from being the “king” of the company to being knocked down a few pegs.
As for our hero, he’s got his eye on the female lead—basically, he’s just waiting for the right moment to make a move on her, you know?
On the other hand, the leads also expose those who—you know—engage in office romances or affairs.
So, you just have to watch to see how, amidst all the bickering and exposing each other’s secrets, they end up falling in love, and what ultimately happens in their lives.

However, regarding this series, I’d suggest watching it alone; you’ll come across some pretty wild scenes that definitely aren’t suitable for viewing with family you wouldn’t feel comfortable doing so. So, watch it by yourself.
That said, the story is engaging. It follows a romantic comedy theme and is genuinely enjoyable to watch.
Mousetrap
But if you’re bored with romantic comedies and want to watch a mind-blowing, brain-bending K-drama, then this one is for you.
The story revolves around a guy whose identity gets stolen by someone else—imagine having an Aadhaar card where the photo belongs to a completely different person. The culprit hijacks everything—his bank account and even his entire life.
To see how our hero gets caught in this trap and unravels the mystery, you have to watch this K-drama. You’ll want to find out who stole his identity and who the mysterious person helping him is—and why they are helping. Ultimately, can the two of them team up to catch the real mastermind who is wreaking havoc on their lives?

And hey, if you enjoy mind-bending series, you should definitely give this one a try. It features a mystery-thriller concept, but its style is absolutely top-notch—you’re sure to really enjoy it.
A Love Other Than Yours
I recently watched a K-drama; only two episodes have been released so far, but I liked it enough to include it in this list. The story revolves around a man and a woman who have known each other since childhood.
After twenty-six years, they decide to stop looking for love elsewhere and fall for each other instead, eventually entering into a relationship. She is a director, and he works at a company. However, as the saying goes, life is unpredictable—anything can happen at any moment.
A twist occurs in the woman’s life that leads her to decide to end her ten-year relationship.
You’ll have to watch the show to find out what actually happens in their lives and how they begin to yearn for each other when other people enter the picture.
If you want to watch a proper, feel-good romantic series, I highly recommend giving this K-drama a try—it’s called A Love Other Than Yours.
Only two episodes have been released as I write this; by the time you read this, more episodes will likely be out. However, if you are looking for a lovely series—specifically a proper romance—you should definitely give this one a try with your girlfriend or boyfriend, as it is much more enjoyable to watch with a partner.
Human Vapor
Now, let’s talk about the next series—which isn’t actually a K-drama, but a Japanese one. Many people missed out on this, so if you’re one of them, you should definitely check it out. The story revolves around a man whose entire body has vanished, leaving him in a vaporous form.
What exactly happened in his life, and who is he seeking revenge against? If you want to find out—and see if the police can catch him, especially since murders are starting to occur in the city—and if you enjoy fantasy series, then you must watch Human Vapor, available on Netflix.
I have to say, it’s a really good series—especially if you like unique concepts, like Hollow Man.
The blend of action, drama, and fantasy elements here is top-notch. It’s definitely worth your time.
Our Universe
Now, moving on to the next series—it’s a K-drama that was released quite recently. Personally, I didn’t find it particularly special, though some people really loved it, so you might want to give it a try—it’s up to you.
The story revolves around a small child; due to certain events involving the parents, the in-laws have to step in and take care of the baby.
So, who are these in-laws, and why are they at each other’s throats? Are they able to look after the child properly?
And what exactly happened to the child’s parents—where did they go? If you want to find out the answers to these questions—or if you’re simply looking for a sweet, romantic family drama—you could give this series a shot. It’s called Our Universe.
The first half of the series is quite good, though the second half didn’t really appeal to me. However, if you do decide to watch it, you might enjoy the scenes featuring the baby; I thought the series was excellent whenever the child was on screen. It’s worth giving it a try.
Now, let’s talk about the next K-drama—this one is definitely geared towards a male audience. If you enjoy action-thrillers or “mass-appeal” K-dramas, you should give this a try. It follows the story of a man working for a specific taxi agency.
The premise is that this taxi agency helps exact revenge for people who have been wronged.
So, how does the agency operate? Why is our protagonist working with them? What is the mystery behind his past?

Many people haven’t seen this one yet, so let me tell you—it’s a highly-rated K-drama. You really shouldn’t miss it. Even if you aren’t usually into mass-appeal K-dramas, give this one a shot; it has a bit of everything.
