I’ve just watched “Mirzapur The Movie”, and I’m about to share something that will genuinely blow your mind.
Spoiler warning: If you haven’t watched “Mirzapur The Movie” Yet, I highly recommend you watch it first. It’s best to read this article after seeing the film, because we’ll discuss the ending and the post-credits scene details I consider crucial, especially for the future of this universe.
Before we go any further, grab some snacks and settle in, because this is going to be quite a movie experience in itself.

First, if you’ve watched the movie, be honest and tell me in the comments what you thought.
In the post-credits scene, we see a gift being delivered to the honorable JP Yadav essentially election campaign funds that he had asked Kaleen Bhaiya to arrange.
Along with this, a pair of scissors drenched in blood is sent, accompanied by a letter from the Tripathi family; it is essentially a warning, a threat stating that it would be best for him to stay away from the throne of Mirzapur, and that they will take whatever they desire.
This was Kaleen Bhaiya’s warning to JP Yadav, signaling that JP Yadav was about to find himself in a dire predicament; in short, he was about to get thrashed.
Towards the end, we see Kaleen Bhaiya travel to Jaisalmer to strike a deal with Baban Yadav (played by Ravi Kishan).
Upon arriving in Jaisalmer, Kaleen Bhaiya gets kidnapped; it turns out to be a trap set by Baban Yadav. He knew killing Kaleen Bhaiya within Mirzapur was nearly impossible, so he devised a plan to eliminate him outside the city instead.
But watching everyone gang up on Yadav Ji is a real treat.
By “everyone,” I mean Guddu Bhaiya, Munna Bhaiya, Maqbool, Compounder, and Bablu Bhaiya—the entire faction has united. In other words, they have become one team; there is no longer any division among them… that was the greatest cinematic experience I’ve ever had in a theater. I can barely recall another film that gave me a similar thrill.
Watching the bond between Munna and Guddu unfold on the big screen was the cherry on top.
Right, so where was I? Oh, the chaos that ensued when they all teamed up to tear things apart.
The division is gone now.
The rivalry between Guddu Bhaiya and Munna Bhaiya has ended because they saved each other’s lives.
We all know our Munna Bhaiya is immortal, so there was no way he could actually die.
The important thing isn’t just that they survived; it’s that they became friends. What really matters is that, by the end, they’re sitting in the same salon getting facials, bro, over the same girl, and that is truly significant.
And its ending paves the way for another compelling storyline: we see the ‘Bahubali’ (strongman) of Jaisalmer standing alongside Kaleen Bhaiya.
In short, several storylines are in play. For now, I am providing a brief overview, but we will delve into the details later, so stay tuned.
Mirzapur The Movie Review
I arrived at the theater with sky-high expectations—perhaps even a bit higher than that—so that was my own mistake. If you felt the same way, do let me know in the comments.
Since my expectations were so high, I anticipated something explosive—a blazing experience filled with suspense and high-octane scenes. That distinct aura I was hoping for felt somewhat missing—not entirely, but just a little.
Characters like Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit, and Munna felt a bit underutilized, and the sheer intensity (bhaukaal) wasn’t quite there. However, that’s partly because this is a movie rather than a series; in a series, makers have ample time to develop things, so I can’t really fault them for that.
That said, the fact that the entire three-hour movie revolved around a single topic didn’t quite sit right with me.
Because in “Mirzapur”, we have witnessed a swagger and an aura that operate on an entirely different level. That moment when our Kaleen Bhaiya stands tall and declares, “Maurya Ji, Jis Shehar Me AAP Naukar bankar Aye hai Ham Malik Hai Us Shehar Ke, “ is precisely the element that had been missing.
They’ve also left plenty of things open for the future.
The movie is top-notch and thoroughly entertaining; there’s no denying that.
If you decide to watch it, you’re guaranteed to enjoy it 100%.
The songs were essentially the backbone of the movie; they really elevated the experience. Without them, I don’t think the film would have had that special “cherry on top” feel.
That signature “Mirzapur” theme music gives you goosebumps, especially if you’re already connected to the “Mirzapur” universe.
There’s comedy too, and characters like Munna and Guddu Bhaiya deliver plenty of it brilliantly.
Overall, it’s a great film, though it didn’t quite deliver the raw, intense “Mirzapur” vibe we expected.
However, if you set aside your “Mirzapur” series expectations and judge it purely as a standalone film, it is absolutely fantastic.
So, don’t go in expecting the same “Mirzapur” series experience, or you might be disappointed. Otherwise, the movie feels like a rollercoaster ride. It’s thoroughly enjoyable.
